The Riverview Retreat Corbett by Leisure Hotels

The only good thing about this property is the location and proximity to the river.

Dated property. We had a very loud group blasting music next to our room and the hotel couldn’t do much to try to keep them quiet. This is not a place to get a quiet getaway. Housekeeping and room service is not up to the mark.

Breakfast was excellent.Location is fabulous

Quality if interiors.Not upto date and specially when comparevto price.For Ex : Same price fairmont in Jaipur I stayed last year was far better.

Everything was great minus the location of the room. I understood looking at the pics that the duplex room would be in a separate cottage but it was actually in the building hosting the reception.

Amazing Location , Bang on River. Enjoyed the high tea & musical nights . My Family loved the overall experience . Staff was very Courteous . Would love to go back soon . Highly recommended . Thoroughly enjoyed the stay .

The property is well maintained and the breakfast and the dinner spread was good with different options

1. The food. The Restaurant manager, Laxman and his team attended to us all the time. 2. The room. It is so spacious and clean. 3. The location. Easy to reach. 4. The property. The walking path, the garden, the riverside, the pool, everything was beautiful and well maintained. Better than the pictures. 5. Entertainment. Tambola, carom board, TT table. We had a great time.

We are family of four from UK, children 12&8. We felt extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for the hard working staff - they are excellent. Our duplex room was spacious, clean, great beds, more than enough room for the whole family. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to Jim Corbett, and on the bank of the Kosi River. The grounds are full of Mango trees and all well maintained. The swimming pool area is great. I was impressed with the pool depth catering for toddlers, pre teen children and adults. The position of the pool allows shade to cover in mid afternoon so kids god be out of the sun and play in it. The restaurant is excellent.So much choice of food. Extremely tasty options. You can walk down a few steps to the Kosi river which was nice in the evenings.High tea at 1730 by the pool/pool bar area was brilliant. Lovely chai and snacks.The hotel was not overcrowded, nor was it dead - just right. It was a fantastic place for us to spend a couple of nights.

As far as our room was concerned, we felt the bathroom was little bit tired, paint rubbing off the floor. Signs of rust in the shower area. The air conditioning unit downstairs wasn’t secured into position. The air conditioning was a little loud in the room. Lost count how many power cuts we had, in the end it was quite funny as we tried to guess how long until the power came back on. Unusually between 3 and 15 seconds. We had to unplug the TV because every time the power return the TV went on quite loud.WiFi was ok. We had a little trouble to begin with but staff helped us log onto a different user network.

I liked every thing offered by the hotel. The location, the garden, the sitting arrangement next to the river, the private path to the river, the food, the decoration the behavior of the staff....on top of that one can can experience live and recordings of India classical music.......

Everything right from check in to checkout was lovely. The ambience of the property along with it's location just at starting of Corbett and adjoining the river. The staff was amazing and went out of the way to help in every way possible.

The property has a beautiful kosi river view & overall well maintained property with all the staff is polite & always ready to help you out. The evening main course was having a very good number of options in veg, non veg & dezzerts.Overall a 5 star experience at the location. Also note as we have finished our safari late we checked out almost 1hour & missed the morning breakfast at the time of check out they provided ample sandwitches, fruits,fruity, mineral water bottles according to number of persons which shows good sign of hospitality.they also arrange safari from the property itself which is a good advantage.

Very nice and well maintained property located at beautiful river bank. Staff is very courteous. Food was amazing though bit pricey. Overall we are Satisfied with our stay. It’s a Value for money

Amazing location. Conveniently located close to Safari locations. Clean. Lot of open spaces for kids to play. Right next to the Kosi river. Staff is very courteous. Breakfast is delicious.

Kosi restaurant takes a minimum of 20 minutes to serve a dish. No lifts in the building hence slightly inconvenient for families with infant.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere all around along with friendly and active staff .. live singer all evenings is a topping on the cake .. Would definitely recommend,,, But should have had a better activity room or something for kids ..

Room is not value for money . Only basic rooms are there with minimum facilities.

Location at riverside was the best part. Evening engagement was also good. Staff was good and trying to do their best in limited resources, specially Bhawana at reception was really helpful and helped with a change of room on Day 2. Spa was good.

The category of a 'cottage' mentioned in the website and 'garden view' was a complete fraud. The so called cottage was smaller than a superior room and seems we have been through fraud as the cost was highest but the images shown an the website is very deceptive... definitely not worth the value charged. The garden view from balcony existed no where!! All we had was a no-privacy window onlooking other rooms' windows. Seemed to me like a pigeonhole. Utter chaos at breakfast buffet as the limited staff surely could not handle so many people.

Best part of this resort was the service, which was outstanding. They also provided cart in case someone has problem walking. Rooms & ambience of the resort were really good. Its located on the River side, which serves as an excellent location. Food was also outstanding.

Superb Location , delicious food, nicely maintained property quite cooprative staff but the seniors does not interact with the guests if done will add to your services.

Morning safari service, normally all the hotel arranges tea/ coffee on house during morning safari which was not there
